The project was inspired by the Netflix documentary 'The Social Dilemma'. I chose the name “Reconnect” because these products which were supposed to make us all come closer together have ironically made us disconnected with our selves. “Reconnect” purpose is to raise public awareness of the dangerous business models used by Big Tech companies and to advocate for more Humane Design in social media.

The first logo concept was too soft and didn't support the impact of the brand's message. The visual metaphor of the letters trying to connect was an idea that I carried over to the second concept.

Apotek was a strong font choice. It has a huge variety of weights and lengths which provides plenty of versatility when it comes to expanding upon the brand's identity. It's clear but has a slightly informal quality to it.
